Trash
Your pickup day for trash has been changed to....
January 2011
Our solution is to take the trash out, a lot.
We use a trash can in our kitchen, bathroom and bedroom that can use a standard shopping bag for a liner, and then we take the trash out every time we walk in somewhere. A family of 9 generates more trash than all of you couples out there, so you can take out the trash every 3 or 4 stops perhaps, but we're trash can regulars.
The standard walk into Walmart.... with my small bag of trash.
So that's it!
Take the trash out at every gas station, store or roadside stop. Keep the bags little and no one will fuss about you dumping your trash. If stealth is required, resist the urge to tie the top of the bag (which looks like you're carrying trash). Blend in by leaving the handles untied and carrying it like a shopping bag- like every other person there- and then sticking it in the first trash can you see.
This method may not work at Neiman-Marcus because they do not (as of this writing) package your goods in white plastic shopping bags.
